Jack Krage inducted into Lions Hall of Fame


Winona Noon Lion Jack Krage was chosen by the Lions of District 5M1, which includes the eight counties of Southeastern Minnesota. This district is served by 51 Lions clubs. Each year, one Lion may be selected for induction from each district.

A past district governor, Jack has been a Lion since October 1995. During this time, he has served numerous club offices and presently serves as Noon Lion president. One of his more favored accomplishments was to serve as co-chair of the “Every Child’s Dream” fundraising effort to construct an all-inclusive playground in Winona. This was a combined function of all three Winona Lions Clubs.

Jack has served on the District 5M1 cabinet for 21 consecutive years. Positions he held included: district governor, Lions Clubs International Foundation coordinator, global leadership team coordinator, emergency relief chair, public relations chair and presently serves on the Minnesota Lions Vision Foundation.

He has served as an instructor for club officer training and district governor training. In addition, he was a presenter at two Northern Pride Leadership Forums, as well, as serving as a team leader and instructor at the MD5M Emerging Lions Leadership Institute.

Outside of Lion activity, Jack has served in many other activities, such as: Boy Scouts, parish council, WSU Alumni Society, president of the Southeast Minnesota Association of Realtors, MLS Chair, Minnesota Realtors Professional Standards Committee, and Chamber of Commerce Leadership Perspectives instructor. Jack is a realtor with Coldwell Banker River Valley Realtors, serving his clients for the last 36 years.
