Snow and ice play a factor in a deadly crash that killed an Arcadia man last Wednesday.
On December 23, at 6:10 p.m., Trempealeau County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a crash on State Road 35 near Menard Lane in Trempealeau. The driver, Apolinary J. Kamrowski, 80, of Arcadia, was killed after his car hit an embankment after failing to negotiate a curve. Kamrowski was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse for serious injuries. He passed away two days later.
Deputies reported that road conditions played a factor in the crash. They said that Kamrowski was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
