Take in music and a movie courtesy of the city of Winona — and get your COVID vaccine

The city of Winona and Winona County Public Health will offer quick, easy and free COVID vaccinations at Lake Park Drive-In Music And Movies on Saturday, May 29.

Vaccinations will be available anytime during the event at the Lake Park Bandshell, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Listen to great music from Annie Mack at 7 p.m. Watch “West Side Story” on the big screen starting at 9 p.m., and get COVID shots for you and your family anytime, courtesy of Winona County Public Health and the Winona Fire Department.

The county provides Johnson & Johnson vaccines at public events—- the single-dose shot means you don’t need any followup or appointments. COVID vaccines are safe and always free — no health insurance or registration required.

The city and county are looking for public events to partner with to host vaccination clinics this summer, and can handle logistics and promotion — your only work is extending an invitation. If you’re interested, reach out to Emergency Management Director Ben Klinger at bklinger@co.winona.mn.us.
