Kinstone hosts Kin-Day Family Day and open house May 2


Kinstone, called “Wisconsin’s Stonehenge,” in rural Fountain City, will host their Kin-Day Family Day and Spring Open House on Sunday, May 2 from noon to 5 p.m. Enjoy live music by Patina, kids painting activities and story time, raptor demonstration, question and answer session with founder/creator Kristine Beck, and a group labyrinth walk as we celebrate the opening of our 10th season. The Labyrinth, Chapel of Creation, Great Stone Circle, Dolmen, Dragon’s Keep, sauna, yurt and other features will be open and available for exploration throughout the day. View Kinstone-inspired artwork by regional artists at our 2021 Plein Air Art Exhibit and Sale in the Education Center. Visit the Kinstone Store to purchase art, homemade jams, mugs, Kinstone photo cards, magnets, T-shirts, and more. We have new T-shirts with dragon and labyrinth designs. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, homemade pie and cookies will be available for sale until gone. 

General schedule for the day:

•    12 - 5 p.m. - Plein Air Art Exhibit & Sale

•    12 - 3 p.m. - Live Music by Patina

•    12 p.m. - Stone Painting / Art Activity for Kids

•    12:45 p.m. - Story Time for Kids

•    1:15 p.m. - Q&A with Kristine in the Stone Circle 

•    2 p.m. - Raptor Demonstration - Live Birds of Prey

•    4 p.m. - Group Labyrinth Walk

This family friendly event will be held rain or shine and will be mostly outdoors with plenty of room for social distancing. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes.
