Local karate group hosts karate tournament
Minnesota Genbu-kai Karate in Winona is hosting a national karate tournament and seminars. The tournament begins at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday July 24, and will be held at the Rollingstone Community School. Admission is free to spectators. Participants are coming from around the country.
Participants will compete in kata (forms), sparring and weapons events. Prizes are awarded for first, second and third places. Seminars are conducted on July 24 and 25.
