Watkins Gallery: Senior art exhibitions

Winona State University’s Watkins Gallery is hosting two senior art exhibitions this spring, featuring work from nine artists.

 

‘Nothing Permanent Except Change’ April 19–23

Virtual artist talks and a reception will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21. “Nothing Permeant Except Change” focuses on periods of transition, both in nature and in our own lives as we finish our college career. This exhibition will be on display in-person in the Watkins Gallery, as well as online. Participating artists are Amanda Chapman-Vruno, Megan Cichosz, Kiri Sannerud, and Megan Surface.

‘Perception & Color’ April 26–30

Virtual artist talks and a reception will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28.

“Perception & Color” is dedicated to showing each of our individual views of the world and how we express these through color, or lack thereof. This exhibition will be on display in-person in the Watkins Gallery, as well as online. Participating artists include Marissa Mate, Noah Schomburg, Kevin Stevens, Hannah Uhlenbrauck, and Amanda Vail.
