Justin Hanson completed 100 days of running on August 10, and raised over $4,000 for local causes in the process. As a regular runner, Hanson decided to focus his running toward helping others this spring and summer. He decided to run for a 100-day streak, and to raise funds for two local causes as part of his final 30 days of running. After running for 100 days and over 420 miles, Hanson raised over $2,000 for the local nonprofit organization Ready Set School, and over $2,000 for Winona Volunteer Services.
Hanson said, “I am grateful for the support from my family, friends, and Winona County residents. Their monetary support along with encouragement has been nothing short of amazing.” When asked what his next goals and plans are, Hanson stated, “I don’t have anything specific in mind at the moment but I do want to continue to grow personally while finding ways to help others. I hope to inspire others to do the same.”
