Ashley for the Arts has announced the cancelation of its 2020 music and art festival due to the current circumstances arising from the COVID-19 pandemic. With the widespread effects of the pandemic, including government recommendations and the implementation of social distancing guidelines, crowd restrictions and other precautionary measures, this cancelation was made for the health and safety of the staff, volunteers and fans.
The festival will resume next year on August 12-14, 2021, at Memorial Park in Arcadia to once again be a premier charity and family-friendly event.
“We have spent over a decade bringing all of our fans, communities, sponsors and participating organizations a world-class event for the entire family and we want to continue to do so for many years to come,” stated Event Director Cole Bawek. “Your support in growing the event has been phenomenal and we hope you continue to support us through these trying times.”
All ticket holders for the 2020 dates will be receiving further details on ticketing options within the next 14 days. There will be an option for ticket holders to claim a refund or donate their ticket purchase to the nonprofit organization. Event organizers apologize for the inconvenience and are asking for your patience as they work through this process.
Vendors for this year’s event will be receiving additional communication in the coming days.
“This summer will not be the same without seeing all of our fans and all of the hype our festival brings to the region,” stated Bawek. “While we are disappointed in the cancelation of this year’s festival, we are very excited to come back with an even better event in 2021 and see all of our fans again!”
